I contacted Linkville early August of last year to estimate a painting project for exterior parts of our house that were faded and where peeling and cracking of trim features and fascia were prevalent. An appointment was made soon after the first call for scope setting and a walk about. The estimator, (Todd), was very thorough in his inspection and made several much-appreciated recommendations for additional rain gutters, rain runoff sheathing, and trim feature replacements where weather damage was too severe for merely painting over. By the third week of August a satisfactory contract proposal was in hand, and I made the standard 50% deposit.
I include these pre-project details to illustrate how ethical Linkville was in the handling of the 50% deposit when unexpected delays were encountered. When orders were put into the paint supplier it was learned that the supplier would be unable to provide the paint grade and quality called for. The paint delivery delays pushed back the project start date so much that low outdoor temperatures made exterior painting infeasible and delayed the job start date into this year. On realization of the extent of the delays Linkville returned all but a very small portion of the 50% deposit with the promise, and follow through, of regular updates on paint delivery and holding my place at the front of the line for exterior painting jobs as soon as the weather warmed up.
Prep and painting finally started late June this year, and everything went according to plan. The job was worked without interruption from start to finish for a little over a week. The crew was great and worked very hard in spite of some very warm days. Further, the workmen were professional and courteous and left a clean job site behind. I whole heartedly recommend this company to anyone needing high-quality painting work.
